Video Games: A cartridge or cart is a device that contains chips. These devices are designed to be inserted into a computer- or videogaming-system. It contains ROM with program information. A cartridge often contains a backup-battery and RAM in order to save information (e.g. progress within a game). Famous cartrigde consoles are the Atari VCS (Video Computer System) or Nintendos Super NES (Nintendo Entertainment System).
