Uranus is the seventh planet from Sun:Distance from Sun (million km): 2.884 Revolution: 88,66 years Diameter (equator): 51.800 km Period of rotation: 15 h, 36 min Tilt: 98 degree (when viewed from Earth, it appears to rotate on its side) Uranus\' atmosphere is composed of hydrogen, helium, and methane. The temperature in the upper atmosphere is so cold that the methane condenses and forms a thin cloud layer which gives the planet its blue-green appearance. The winds on Uranus can reach speeds up to 600 kilometers/hour. These winds in the atmosphere are influenced by the rapid spin of Uranus. Uranus has at least 18 natural satellites.
