Sega´s SVP-Chip was the answer to Nintendo´s Super-FX-Chip (e.g. Star Fox/Star Wing, Vortex) and was used in the Genesis/Mega Drive Version of Virtua Racing (the chip is placed in the cartridge). With this chip the Genesis/Mega Drive was able to display Polygon-based graphics with 16 colors. The Virtua Racing cartridge is the only SVP-game.
